How did you get started in acting? I began working in theatre as a chorus girl in the plays in Lahore, Pakistan. I later progressed to play the lead role in a local drama production before moving onto the smaller roles in films. I love playing strong women characters and always want to do theatre. My favorite roles are older, powerful Pakistani women who have a strong sense of humor.

How would you like to become a popular Pakistani television actress? I love to play strong, resilient women characters. I would love to portray a mother who has been through a divorce, gone through a marriage, had three children, and is still fighting to be the wife and mother she always wanted to be. I’d love to portray a strong, intelligent character with a beautiful daughter. Of course, all Pakistani actresses have their own strengths and weaknesses, and I’d love to incorporate into my own as an actor. I have a natural beauty and I like to wear my hair in curls, so I can portray a young woman.

I would love to one day pursue a career in drama. It’s important that I finish up my education first, because it will benefit me greatly in the future. I have always felt strongly about human rights and about helping others. Being able to provide for my family is my number one priority. I am a passionate student and I enjoy discussing issues, sharing stories, and performing drama. If you would like to know more about how you can pursue a career in drama, contact me at any time.
