Mamie Gummer Bra Size & Body Measurements
Mamie Gummer was an actress of Mexican-American descent who enjoyed a prolific career that spanned parts of four decades in movies, television and theater. She is best known for her work on the television series Yes, Prime Rib and as Gingerbread Man in the movie Home Alone. She also appeared in the films Meet the Parents, Saturday Night Fever, Dog Eat Dog and television series Seinfeld. She is also famous for her appearances in some of the more eccentric films of the seventies such as Blowin’ In The Wind and A Christmas Story.
Gummer has been celebrating her eighty-first birthday with her daughter Ruth in New York. While she’s enjoying the freedom that age brings, she is also reflecting back on her many past decades of life. She recently co-authored a book with her son called Mamie Gummer: Remember the Times. In this book, the late artist recalls various key moments in her professional and personal life, as well as her views on art and personal expression.

The book was published by St. Martin’s Press and can be purchased online. It gives an inside look at how the famous New York theatre world of Gummer/Reynolds came together, as well as providing a behind-the-scenes look at the lives of both mother and daughter. The book was inspired by a chance meeting with Gummer while the two were waiting for the Broadway star to come out of a break. As it happened, Gummer’s son from a previous relationship was in the audience. He offered to take the chance of going up on stage with her so they could both participate in one final performance of her legendary play “The Odditor.”
What the author did not expect was that her daughter would get the chance to sing with the one and only Lou Gehrig. For those unfamiliar with Gummer’s theatre career, Gehrig was a member of the Great American Ring Team as well as a member of the cast of the Chicago theatre scene. This role came as quite a surprise to the young Mamie Gummer, but her son did encourage her to try out for the role. She obliged and surprised even herself, playing the role of Lou Gehrig, the mean, cynical manager of a big Broadway show. It was this role that would propel Gummer into her role as the legendary American actor/actress Mamie Gummer in the movies, TV shows, and more recently in her biographical book.
When she received the perfect 10-spot on her first try, Mamie Gummer became known to the world as Mamie Gummer, the first ever African-American single model in Hollywood. She went on to star in such movies as “Swing Low,” “My Fair Lady,” “All about Eve,” “Breakfast at Tiffany’s,” “Daughter,” “A Raised Cow Girl,” “Catch Me If You Can,” and more. But it was Gummer’s first stint in movies where her role would garner her the attention that she always craved for. In her first film role, she played the character of Candy Reese, an exotic dancer who works at a strip club in California. Although the movie failed to do well at the box office, it was a role that would help raise her career. She went on to appear in other memorable movies including “Breakfast at Tiffany’s,” “ferretting Female,” “Lucky Number Slevin,” “Lawrence of Arabia,” and more.
Although Mamie Gummer is no longer with us, her role as the sweet yet sultry candy girl has become synonymous with the glamour side of the theatre world. She was a trailblazer, breaking the rules to help pave the way for other talented women. She is now recognized as one of the most accomplished and versatile actors of all time.
