He is currently executive producing a musical called “Shattered”, which centers on a war between terrorists and the CIA in New York City. He is also producing the musical titled “Euphorbia”. The musical has already been postponed several times”.

According to Variety, former “E.T.” star, Lindsay Crouse will play “Raj”, an escaped slave who travels with Dr. David Storey, a neurosurgeon, in an upcoming Broadway revival of “E.T.” Crouse will also star in a role that has been described as “a love story between a white slave and a black girl who escaped from slavery”. No additional information has been released yet regarding whether Crouse will be portraying Roof or Storey.

The role that Crouse will be playing is most likely a character that was left unrevealed for the first run of “E.T.” since the character was not part of the original concept for the musical. He will join a long list of Broadway veterans that have recently been cast in new shows that are premiering on the New York City theater scene. Leading roles in “E.T.” have included roles in such highly acclaimed shows as “Broken Down”, “Dear John” and “The Secret Life of the Devil”. Crouse’s extensive filmography spans over thirty years, starting with his memorable and award-winning performance in “Catch Me If You Can” in 1977.

When Crouse began his illustrious career on Broadway, he went to work first with the acclaimed director John Cullum. It was Crouse’s work with Cullum that brought him to the attention of producers Aaron Crane and Lee Grossing when he was cast in “My Fair Lady”. From there he went on to play opposite Anne Bancroft in “A Midsummer Night’s Dream” and “leys Man”. Lindsay Crouse has since gone on to star in numerous other award-winning films, including the movies “E.T.” and “Lucky Number Slevin”, as well as heaps of television programs, including “Heroes” and” SVU”.
