Zoe Tay is an actress from Singapore who has gone on to become one of the best-selling female celebrities in Asia. Born in 1997, she has gone on to play a variety of different characters in television including Smallville, Burn notice, Housefull, Frasier and Chuck and Weeds. On the 10th of January, Zoe Tay was born in Bukit Timah where her father was a driver and her mother was a school teacher. She was then immediately taken away from home by her mother when she turned three years old. She was later named after Zoey Barkow, who was then an actress in Singapore. Zoey had worked previously on TV shows in Britain and the U.S.

Zoey’s first big break in the world of show business was when she was cast as Saleh, the love interest of Bruce Willis in the movie, American Gods. After that film, she was then hired by Chow Lin Shui expert, Ion fuzz. After working with him for several years, she was then given the lead role in the television drama ‘Indian Wedding’ with Michael Chiklis. The role she played in this show was a very pivotal role in the successful development of the show in Singapore. After that show ended, she then went on to star in several more popular movies such as the movie “When Harry Met Sally”, the movie version of ‘A Raisin in London’, and the movie version of ‘Iesha”.

She is also well known for being a strong vocalist and singer, having released several albums that have hit the charts. She has also contributed songs to the song list of various popular singers and groups, and has been a key member of the band Banda Albee. Her strong local roots and strong passion for her craft have made her an integral part of the entertainment industry.
