Rabia Butt is a Pakistani actress, model and TEDx speaker. She has appeared in some of Pakistan’s leading television channels and has worked with some of the world’s top brands of Pakistan, most notably the brand of sunglasses brand KHAAD. She was nominated for a Gemini Award at the 2021 MTV Asia Awards, becoming the first woman ever to win this prestigious award. She is also an entrepreneur and motivational speaker. A few months before her marriage to Abdulla Butt, Rabia Butt made a personal visit to Lahore to shoot for a campaign by an Indian fashion magazine. During the visit, Butt was spotted in a news photograph alongside Pakistani actress Kamal Islam. This was followed by a feature in an Indian newspaper, which said that both actors were ‘stunning’. It was at this point that Saleem Bedi confirmed that he had started dating Rabia Butt and would soon begin filming a Hindi movie based around the relationship. Both actors are seen together in a number of photos which have since been used in various online promotional campaigns.

Butt’s contract with Sony Pictures Television is set to expire in February 2021, therefore it is highly likely that she will sign up for a number of smaller Pakistani soap operas that start shooting in the near future. She will most probably end up playing the lead role. For Pakistani actresses this can sometimes prove to be a disappointment as the role often requires a Pakistani woman to lose a lot of weight. However, given her recent success it is highly unlikely that she will have any problems fulfilling this role.

Like many other famous actresses from Pakistan, Rabia Butt has not ignored the challenges of acting. For instance, she overcame the odds to become one of the youngest ever Leading Ladies in the British film industry. Also, as a 31-year-old, it is likely that Butt will be able to continue acting for the rest of her life. Her career is likely to continue to grow and she may even decide to take on a part in a Hindi movie. Whatever the decision may be, it is clear that Rabia Butt is an exciting and talented actress whose name is likely to become synonymous with success in the Bollywood industry in the near future.
