One of the most famous female video game voice actors is Laura Bailey of Dragonball Z: The Revenge of Goku. Laura Bailey was an orphan who was trained by a martial arts master who had the skill of a great warrior. This talented martial artist taught her the craft of martial arts and she was trained by Master Piccolo, whom she considered as her hero. However, the master was killed by Goku during their battle. After this event, Laura began to live a very miserable life and was constantly looking for ways to avenge her fallen love. Eventually, she decided to become a street fighter and train with a master who knew her.
In Dragonball Z: The Revenge of Goku, Laura is seen wearing green clothes that are similar to the ones she used to wear during the beginning of the series. In addition, her hairstyle is quite different from her previous appearance. In this game, Laura’s hair is now longer and her bangs are shaped like a heart, thus making her seem more appealing. During the events of the game, Laura develops a crush on a boy named Goku and went to great lengths to get him to marry her. However, when she discovered that Goku ran off to marry a woman whose father was very wealthy, she went on to fight and kill her instead.
In Dragonball Z: The Goku Special, Laura retains her role as the good fighter that she was known to be in the past, though she developed a liking for Gotenks. As seen in the later episodes of the series, Laura develops a liking towards the cool demeanor of her rival, Gotenks. In the end, it can be assumed that Laura would have married Gotenks if he had not stolen her opportunity. In the Japanese version of Dragonball Z, Laura had a son named Kale, whom she named Bero. In the English version however, Laura got a son named Goku who was introduced in the filler chapter of Dragonball Z.
