Asha Negi is an Indian actress who performs in the Hindi movie industry. Born iniated with a passion for stories and a love for helping people in need, Asha spent her early years in Calcutta, working hard to make a name for herself. She joined the production company of her idol Amitabh Bachhan, where she honed her acting skills. After a few years in Mumbai, Asha settled in Delhi where she acted in some more popular films. Today Asha is known for her role in hit movies like Happy Days and also the popular television series Happy Days. However her most successful role to date has been in the hit comedy Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani where she plays the role of a rebellious young girl who finds herself love struck by an Air Force officer. This role was originally played by Hrithik Roshan in Hindi movie ‘Aaj’.

Asha Negi was born in Dehra Doon, a small district in the state of Orissa on the Indian subcontinent’s West Coast. She was originally a Hindu child but later converted to Islam and later on to Christianity. Asha spent much of her early years in the small town of Mandawa, where she also began studying the English language.

When Asha started appearing on Indian television she was billed under the stage name Zee TV’s Candu. It was then that her real name was revealed to the world. Asha Negi’s real name is Asha Muhammad. Her real father is Mansoor Muhammad who lives in a village called Nazm. In fact She’s real name is Asha Muslim and she got this name after her father converted to Islam when she was just 15 years old.
