Neelam Vemma is a fictional creation based on a true-life case study in the Bombay Criminal Court. Neelam Vemma was a renowned lawyer of the Indian Criminal court who represented the downtrodden. Neelam Vemma was reputed to be an astute legal practitioner with a talent for complex legal arguments. He represented the Hindu community in the trial of demolitionists who were charged with demolishing a Hindu temple.

Neelam Vemma was called into the witness box one day to give evidence in the trial of the demolitionists. The prosecution lawyer for the state tried to cross question Neelam Vemma by suggesting that he had in fact represented the Hindu community in the case. Neelam Vemma politely but firmly interjected and kept quiet while the lawyer tried to manipulate him. Neelam Vemma was convicted of criminal charges and went to jail.

Neelam’s crime was serving the Hindu community with false information regarding his size. To avoid further controversy, Neelam Vemma filed a report in the courts stating that he was not a Hindu and did not support the Hindu religion in any shape or form. As per “Fit for Life,” the sizes range from “Small,” “Medium,” “Larger,” VERY Large,” and “extremely large.” You need to understand that these charts are not literal dimensions. They are a set of values that you assign to yourself. You can then use these values to determine what level of “care” you would like to receive from life. You see, “large” in this case does not mean that Neelam could not be a fit person. Rather, he was just being honest about his size. It is unfortunate that those that do not support Neelam’s true identity (as a gay man) have made him a target by falsely claiming that he was being harassed due to his size.

So, there you have it. If Neelam Vemma had been upfront about his size, we wouldn’t have the issues that we have now. And, as a result of his honesty, we can move past this issue as long as he is in jail… Hopefully!
