Upasna Singh Biography is based on the life of the famous singer, Upasna Singh. She was born in the British Raj, where her family came from Punjab. When she was young, Upasna Singh was a street child who was scorned by his elders for being deaf. However, when she began studying vocal dance at age 14, she surprised her elders by singing for all the boys and girls who attended a talent show in Shimla. It was here that she would come to realize her dream of becoming a great singer.

Upasna Singh first came to the notice of Bollywood with her performance in Hindi movie Ju Masti. After that movie, she began performing in Hindi movies and grew to love the language. It was this love for Hindi that would lead to her roles in many more movies and roles in Hindi movies. In fact, the first biopic movie about Upasna Singh was written in Urdu, and is in progress at the moment.

Today, at the age of 34, Singh is married with children and she continues to star in Hindi movies and plays a vital role in Indian theatre. She has also made her career as a dancer and singer in various other genres. Her popular songs “Chak De! India” and “Singh sahib magar” have helped her to establish a name in Hindi movies, TV serials, dance and tune shows. Today, she is a happy mother, a proud aunt, a proud friend and a talented full moon dancer.

Upasna Singh first came to the attention of the Indian public when her first Indian movie “Upaazhi” was aired on Pakistani television channel. The movie showcased the life of the beautiful Upasna Singh, who at that time was known only as Upasna Singh. She was seen as attractive, full of warmth and had the look of a traditional lady from Pakistan. People loved her character and gave her rave reviews. This led to her becoming the first ever full moon dancer in Republic of India and that too in Rishikesh, during the Festival of Maha in 1994.

In her film, Upasna Singh portrayed the character of Upasna, who at that time was already a full moon dancer, and was shown as a confident and charismatic woman. The film also showed that she had an elegant sense of style, which was in contrast to her bulky size. Some critics also commented that the film portrayed a side of Upasna Singh which majority of the audience did not know existed. They felt that her physical appearance did not reveal her inner beauty. The negative criticism did not deter Upasna from appearing in a number of popular Hindi films, later in the same year she was also spotted in Rajkumar Kohli’s hit film, Bhumika in which she again played the role of Upasna Singh.

After that film, various other movies were directed with the actress in the lead role, where she again displayed her charm and natural beauty. She finally achieved success in the highly popular Temptations, which were eventually turned into a musical, and later a blockbuster film, T2 Trainspotting. In the next film, Om Shanti Om, which was released in 2021, she again portrayed the character of Upasna, this time with Maseeh Kajolia, who was an Indian martial arts expert. Then in Zindoor, she played the lead role of Jasmine, who in this film also gained popularity in the Indian society. Finally in Manuoha, she played a pivotal role in the film, touching the lives of the youth.
