Shilpi Sharma Biography is a biographical website dedicated to the Indian actress, Sushmita Sen. She is best known for her roles in Apu’s, Zippy’s, Baahubali’s, Lakshmi, Kaal Bhai Jairaj, Hrithik Roshan and many more movies. Shilpi started her acting career at age 14 in Kaal Bhai Jairaj’s Baahubali, playing the role of Shoora (the girl who sells vegetables). Before we proceed any further, let us acquaint ourselves with Shilpi’s bio. Shilpi was born in Delhi, the capital city of India, to P.S. Sharma and later changed her name to Shilpi. She grew up in Mangalore, the second largest city of Karnataka, where she was a big fan of South Indian cinema, particularly of female players like Kamal Amrohi and Indira Gandhi.
After her association with Indian cinema, she went on to play an important character in the Hindi soap opera Baahubali. This was followed by her starring role in another Hindi movie called Lodi. Shilpi was then casted in one of the most beloved English movies of all time in the form of Eisha Chopra’s Mankatha. Shilpi’s association with television also produced a brilliant role in one of the most loved serials of all times in the form of Happy Days actress Anjara Kohli.
After these two notable appearances in Baahubali and Happy Days, Shilpi realised her dream of becoming an Indian television actress when she appeared in the first episode of the first season of 24. She impressed the directors and producers of the show with her flawless acting skills and the kind of looks she had which allayed the fears of people about her acting skills. After this impressive performance, Shilpi was finally given her first leading role in the film Bollywood’s first mega-hit, Kaal Bhaijaan.
