Sadia Imperson is originally from Rawalpindi, Punjab. She later moved to Karachi, Pakistan where she became famous as a television actress. She has appeared in a number of movies, dramas, commercials and music videos, all made while residing in Pakistan. She is the younger sister of a famous actress and singer Aliya Imam.

After that, she joined the International Student Association in London, studying drama. Eventually, she went to Pakistan to pursue her acting career, which led her to join the popular soap opera called Maseen. Her first role in a TV show was in an episode of this same soap, which made her realize that she had a talent for acting.

This experience encouraged her to pursue a career in showbiz, and after another series of small roles in local theater, she was discovered by Pakistani director Shimit Amin. He cast her in a lead role in his romantic drama “Chiara”, playing the part of the intelligent and yet ditzy Ismail, who eventually falls in love with the showbiz wiz. Following this, imam continued her impressive German filmography, appearing in movies like “Dascha” and “Irene”.

Although a bit late in the game, it is safe to say that Sadia Imam has already established herself as one of the most successful actresses in Pakistani showbiz. She most notably starred in the hit movie “Chiara”, which was released in October 2021. This film, which launched right after the release of “Shod”, made her name as an instant success in Pakistani showbiz, not to mention internationally.

Since her rise to stardom, many other actresses have fallen in love with Shimit Amin’s direction. For example, Inarritu, who was previously attached to the movie-producing division of Miramax, has called on Amin to direct an upcoming film. Interestingly enough, Asif Kapoor, another popular actor from Pakistani movies, has also expressed interest in starring in a German national production.
