Revathi Menon Bra Size & Body Measurements

Asha Kelu, better known by her full stage name Revathi, was an Indian film and theatre star, best known for her performances in Hindi films, predominantly in Tamil and Malayalam movies. She became popular in India in the eighties and nineties due to her sex appeal and strong acting skills which made her a popular choice among the masses. She had earlier appeared in quite a few Hindi films but failed to hit the big time until the release of Rajneeti in 1984. She went on to play the lead character in another successful Hindi movie ‘Aarakshan’ later that year.

There was however a lull in her career as she concentrated more on her acting skills. She however did appear in some films in the nineties and fifties. Among these was the award-winning role in Hindi movie ‘Nanban’ in which she played the pivotal role of an aging nurse. The late M.S.H. Vaishali was another actor who portrayed a character similar to Revathi’s in her last film ‘Kurban’.

Another prominent figure who is often referred to as the “Indian Indira Vaidya” or the” Kerala princess” is Revathi Menon. Like many other actresses of her generation, she too started her career in the late thirties, working up as a dancer before appearing in the Indian films. Her first notable performance was in the Hindi movie “Bindu’ in which she starred alongside A.R.S. Kapoor.

In the late twenties, she went on to act in various English films and even in an episode of ‘MacGyver’ in which she played Dr Atkins. She later went on to act in many more English language films and even in an episode of ‘MacGyver’ which was to be directed by Tom Cruise. She also appeared in a Tamil movie called “The Robot’ which was directed by S.S. junglee. All this made her popular in the Tamil film industry and she has gone on to receive honors for her roles in Tamil movies.

Though it may seem that the period of her prolific career in the Indian film industry is over, it does not mean that she is finished with the movie biz. She is yet to be nominated for an Academy Award for Best Actress in a Leading Role and the only two Indian female actors in the Best Screenplay category for the last few years, who have been in the Oscar fold, are Suzehr Khan and Priyadarshan Soman Nair. It is expected that with her latest accolade, Revathi Menon will receive many more such awards till her career in the Indian film industry ends.

Like all the great actresses of our times, Revathi Menon has left behind a legacy of some really good movies, which have been remade in the last few years. Her performance in “Yehannya” (2021) made her one of the most beloved actresses in the foreign film industry in India. Her performance earned her a best actress award at the Venice Film Festival and she went on to win the same at the Berlin Festival of Advertising. She then went on to play the lead role in the hit movie ‘Kurban’ which was a box office hit in India and was later nominated for an Oscar.
