In the series finale of the fourth season of American Idol (aired on Fox), Morgan Fairchild appeared as a contestant along with her older sister, Maddy. She placed second to Adam Lambert and became known as one of the favorites on the show. She was eliminated from the final round, having failed to impress judges Peter Gethard and Jeff Probst.
