The social media website, Twitter, was flooded with comments from people questioning on the authenticity of the pictures.

The name of the director who is the actual father of Meera can be seen in the marriage date post. Some people commented that they were not related to Meera by blood. Meera’s mother and step-sister are both named as Indira John, while the marriage date is actually 4 February.
