Early Life Lizzy Caplan was actually born to an English mother, Elizabeth Anne Caplan. She was born in Los Angeles, California, USA on 30 June 1982. She is the eldest child of Richard Caplan, a well-known lawyer, and Barbara Bragman, who was an assistant political adviser.
After her parents divorced, Lizzy attended the University of Utah, graduating in the fall of that year.
