The 1956 born actor, Lisa Eilbacher was an American actress who mainly appeared in motion pictures and television roles. If you’ve ever watched action/humor-drama movie Beverly Hills Cop, you know her as the evil organization agent, Jenny Summers. Born as Lisa Ann Taylor in Dayton, Ohio, Lisa Eilbacher had an older brother, Dean, who died in a plane crash. Her younger sister, Lee, went on to play the same role in the movies The Replacements and Mystic River. She has also been in TV shows such as Granite Television’s The Firm, Dukes of Hazard, Damned United, Chuck and We Have Everything and has done voice-overs for several films and television commercials.

After her father, Dean, dies in a plane crash, Lisa goes off to college in Ohio where she pursued an acting degree. She was able to land a small role in The Replacements, playing the cynical and skeptical agent, Beth Tarrant. It was this role that would help Lisa realize that she had a calling to be an American oil company executive. It was also here that her talent for motion pictures and television would begin to develop.

In the following year, Lisa continued to develop her film and TV career and landed roles in movies such as Bringing Out the Dead, The Bodyguard, Old Yeller, Who Framed Roger Rabbit, Goodnight, Moonraider, Gremlins, and Spider-Man and became the second female actor to take home the Academy Award for Best Actress in a Motion Picture – For Her performance in The Bodyguard. She also appeared in the TV show Yes, Girl with John Travolta. This role also helped her realize her dream of being an American oil company executive. Finally, she landed a role on another successful film in the category of Best Comedy or Musical, as opposite Whoopi Goldberg in Disney’s The Suite Life of someone Who Lives in Paris. The success of these films led Lisa to believe that her future was in acting, and not just being a famous face on TV or a movie star.

As her fan base grew, Lisa Eilbacher began to write and perform her own songs, which earned her additional popularity and helped her to rise even further in the entertainment world. After numerous song contract offers, including one from Airtight Records, Eilbacher decided to pursue her acting career full time, instead of working with established and well-known companies. This decision led to a role on the hit TV show Everybody Loves Raymond, playing the cynical and critical mother of a boy who lives with his grandparents.

After seven seasons on the television series, Lisa Eilbacher decided it was time to move on to bigger and better things. She signed on for a large number of roles in movies, which resulted in her appearing in some of the best films of the decade. Her last notable role was in the hit comedy Another Day, where she played the role of an aging but still loveable character. In these films, Lisa Eilbacher was able to successfully showcase her unique talents as a multi-faceted actress and singer.

Over the course of her adult roles, Lisa Eilbacher showed a style that endeared her to audiences, drawing mystery and intrigue to her characters. She was an unforgettable character, whose quips and observations added humor to her otherwise somber stories about raising her son, working with a psychologist, and are dealing with the death of her brother.
