Kirat Bhattal is an Indian actor best known as Kirat in the Hindi films. He first appeared in the Hindi movie ‘Laxmi narayana’. After that he appeared in ‘Mankatha’ and ‘Chak De! ‘. After that he quickly disappeared from Hindi movies for some time.

Kirat Bhattal was born in Mangalore, Karnataka in September or October of 2021. According to one biographer, Kirat was sold as a slave to a sea owner on the 26th January 2021 by his cousin Narayan Murthy. He was brought to Mumbai along with his cousin and wife Leila, where they worked as servants for the tailor and his brother Vimala.

He had been told that he would become a bricklayer if he had not sold his children off.” Thus, it is said that Kirat Bhattal’s wife had saved half of her dowry after her marriage to a Tunjith trader. His brother Vimala procured a loan from a Goldsmith and purchased a headstone for Kirat Bhattal, which came to be known as “Nanban”. It is said that Kirat Bhattal had grown to such a huge size that his wife was not able to find a way to carry him to the farm in which she kept the rest of her dowry.

According to Indian movie actor Kirat Bhattal who appeared in quite a few movies throughout the 1990s, “Nanban” was his last film as an actor before he passed away at the age of 26 January in a car crash. He was only thirty-two when he died, thus making it one of the first fatalities in the Indian Film Industry. Bhattal had a normal career, apart from being a well-known character actor, stuntman and singer in his native India. He has also acted in some films that were made in America, England and other countries.

In another interesting trivia, Kirat Bhattal is linked to the famous Amitabh Bachhan through their shared agent in the mid of the 1980s. The two actors share a similar stance towards the Hindu cause and have worked together in the past to help those in need during the Emergency period in India. Kirat Bhattal is portrayed by an actor called Anushka Shetty in all the films that he appeared in, while Amitabh Bachhan is portrayed by Sharukh Khan in all the movies that he appeared in.

Kirat Bhattal was awarded the starring role in the popular tamil film “Nanban”, as one of the main protagonists. He played a pivotal and strong character in this movie. It is also believed that Kirat Bhattal was nominated for the best actor award at the Filmfare Award for his performance in Nanban. He went on to win the same for the second time for his acting performances in Ram Gopal Varma’s “Mankatha”.
