The subject of Kanakam’s life and achievements has been the subject of many biographies and articles by her fans and herself, both in English and in Hindi. Her fans note that Kanakam had always been modest about her size, even as she became a successful actress. She maintained a slender figure, and refused to take any weight over four pounds. The reason for this is unclear, but it is certain that her fans believe this helped her to keep a perfect figure throughout her career, as well as keep the weight off for life.

Many people have attempted to measure Kanakam measurements successfully. The problem with most attempts to measure her is that it is difficult to get reliable information on the precise sizes of her breasts, whether or not she was fat, and how much weight she actually needed to lose in order to be “firable”. Her measurements are therefore all estimates based on various different pieces of information and data. However, there is one piece of information which can be used to assess her waist size: her bra size. Kanakam measures her bra size using the standard sizing system: if her underbust is 34″, and her overbust is 34 inches, then she is a bra size B.

In her early career, when she appeared in a string of well known films, Kanakam often wore a bra size D, but according to some accounts, she preferred a bra size E. Some sources claim that her bra size was never known until a clothing designer noticed her having a hard time getting into a gown which fitted properly. This led to the designer making small alterations to various pieces of her clothing, so that she would fit into the gown better. Kanakam’s outfits were often altered, but these alterations were minor. It is possible that she had more than one bra size. These minor alterations did not seem to be enough to make her attractive.

Kanakam tells her story through the telling of her relationships, childhood, and marriage, which are key elements in defining a biography. A Kanakam biographer must always take care to note who they are interviewing, and the manner in which this is done reflects not only the writer but also the personality of their subject. If the biographer has taken care to assemble and arrange the facts carefully and has chosen the right quote from which to reconstruct Kanakam’s life, then the reader will be able to see the intricate details which make this woman such an interesting and fascinating person. A Kanakam biography is an opportunity to gain an insight into the mind of a famous historical figure, and this is perhaps one of the most rewarding aspects of reading a Kanakam biographer’s book.
