Janice Koh was born inews: July 1947. She is the youngest of six children of Mr. Lim Yean, a British national and permanent resident of Singapore who later came to live in the small coastal city-state with his wife and two-year old daughter. She is one of the popular and well-known actresses in Singapore and has gone on to act in many films in the years that followed. She is also an accomplished singer-actor, singer/songwriter and political activist.
Janice Koh’s (retired) acting career started when she was still in high school. She gained recognition through her performances as “Kitty” in the English film ‘Langaroo’. She plays the role of Lin Feng, an exceptional martial arts expert who travels to Singapore in order to train with the Master of Wing Chun in an effort to learn how to protect his kingdom from attack. Lin Feng falls in love with a local woman (Ngee Thao) before his intended marriage to marry princess Ling-Ki. Throughout the series, we see the relationship change over the course of the relationship, as Lin Feng develops feelings for Reiser (Karen Lee), a strong woman working as a police officer. During the course of the series, Reiser also falls in love with Koh, while Koh develops feelings for Lin Feng.
