Geetha is an Indian actress who appears in Malayalam, Tamil, Kannada, Telugu and Hindi movies. She first appeared in the Tamil movie Bairavi. In the later part of her career she appeared in various other movies in India as well as abroad. She has acted in more than 200 movies in all major South Indian languages, as well as in some Hindi movies.

After receiving positive reviews for her performance in this film she began her career in Tamil cinema with the release of “Kappar.” After two films “Bodhifordam” and “Thiruvallam” Geetha began to be known in the Hindi films industry. She continued with four more films “Nanban”, “Mankatha”, “Chikni” and “Mankatha”. These four films helped Geetha attain the rank of an actor in the best ever acting careers of the india.

Another interesting aspect about Geetha is that even though she goes by the name ‘Geetha’, in all her Hindi films she is referred to as Hana Geetha. Hana in Tamil is pronounced as “Haan”. In our opinion, if we are to base ourselves on the real life scenario of Geetha then we should say that she might have been called Hana Geetha in her first five Hindi films, in which all the names that begin with Haan are derived from her first name. Even if she had changed her real name after being discovered in the tamil market, we would still consider her to be Hana Geetha.
