Calista Flockhart was born in segregated Mississippi in 1947. She is a versatile actress known for various notable films and TV shows, including Nurse Jackie, Brothers & Sisters, Supergirl, and Cat Grant. Apart from these movies, Flockhart has also acted in several music videos for artists such as Justin Timberlake, Elton John, Britney Spears, Madonna, Mariah Carey, J.Lo, Ashlee Simpson, Chris Brown, Usher, and others. She has also had small roles in television shows like Sex and the City, Seinfeld, Dinner for One, ER, Brides, House Rules, Justified, Scrubs, Frasier, Chuck and Lenny, among others.

Flockhart’s acting career did not come to an end with the end of the millennium. She has since then been involved in various projects that have helped to further enhance her reputation. She appeared in the film adaptation of Agatha Christie’s novels, Raising Helen. In 2021, she appeared in the TV series Kung Fu Panda. Her most recent film is the film Edward Scissorhands, which she will both be starring in and narrating.
