This is where the story of their friendship begins. It is clear from the beginning that Ginger wants Ted to succeed, so she plots to get him to go to college with her. When Annette Charles dies in the movie, her son goes to college with her and they spend a lot of time together.
As it turns out, Charles wasn’t exactly an actress best known for her role as Ginger in the 1978 film Grease. In fact, she was an even better-known actress in her native England. It was her performance as the evil Queen in the BBC series “Queen Elizabeth the third” that truly defined her as an actress of distinction.
Charles’ birthplace, Los Angeles, is home to a number of notable people, including the singer Janet Jackson, the former skateboarder Tony Hawk, the author William S. Burroughs, the musician John Lennon, the actor George C. Scott, and the model Ann Demeulemeester. Her son, Mark, now works as a car salesman for a company called Cardshark, as do her daughters, Lee and Ruth.
