As a child, Barbara Crampton was an avid fan of horror movies. She loved the suspense of seeing which movies would be winners and which would fail. She would often compare these movies to the works of H. P. Lovecraft. Crampton wrote a book about her love of horror movies in which she discussed how she would classify her love of horror movies. She wrote that she loved the monster movies of the ’30s and the darkly erotic tales of the ‘hentai’ movies of the ‘Thirties.

The life of Barbara Crampton can be traced back to the late nineteen hundreds. Her father, a ship broker in New York City, died when Barbara was only eight years old. Her mother, a talented writer, took on the job of raising Barbara and her two younger sisters. Crampton attended the private boarding school Roosevelt family home on Long Island, which is located just north of New York City. She played a major role in the school’s drama department, while also participating in sports such as tennis, swimming, and cheerleading.
Crampton moved to New York City in the late nineteen sixties, where she worked with singer and composer Paul Simon. After moving to Los Angeles, California, she appeared in several movies, most notably appearing in The Stepford Wives. This period of time also saw the rise of other famous celebrities in the United States. These included Frank Sinatra, who went on to fame as a singer, actor, and producer; Mae West, who rose to fame as a singer, actress, and singer; and Barbara Crampton, who became a versatile and well-known artist. It was around this time that Barbara started going by the name Barbara, as she began to be referred to by friends and family for her popular radio shows.
After a short stint in broadcasting, Barbara Crampton decided to pursue an acting career, but she was not interested in singing. Instead, she focused on playing various characters in a number of movies, plays, and television programs. She later appeared in the movie adaptation of Pride, as well as an episode of L.J. Jones’s Married, and even guest-starred on the seventeenth installment of the hit television series ER.
Barbara Crampton lives in a home on Highland avenue in New York City. Her son, Austin, is now grown and has moved out. The only remaining family member, her husband, Frank, lives with her. Barbara Crampton enjoys cooking American foods – hamburgers and hot dogs are favorites – and likes to entertain friends and relatives at her many parties.
