Career Start. After school, Alice went to college in Connecticut, studying drama. After graduating in drawers and shelves, Alice moved to Broadway to work her way up, first working as an apprentice stagehand. After working on Broadway, she went to Hollywood, where movies were more popular, but not as glamorous as those of the past. Finally, after winning an Academy Award for “Best Actress in a Leading Role”, Alice Brady was nominated for an Oscar, becoming the first woman to win an Oscar for playing a female starring role.

Additionally, she appeared in “The Secret”, “Marilyn Kills”, “For a Few Dollars More” and “Look Who’s Talking”. She also had a role in “The Man Who Played Go” and “The Night Before Tonight”.
