Nimisha Sajayan Biography has been written by her mother herself. It tells about the early childhood of the little Princess. She was born in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India where her father was an engineer. His name is Sajayan and his mother is called Bindhu Sajayan both are still married and have been in this marriage for more than fifty years. She was three years old when her parents got married.

Nimisha Sajayan was given the name “Nimitta” after her mother, who according to some records died at an early age of 15 while she was on her way to college in Mumbai. The little Princess was left with her two elder sisters called Nithu and Pravala who were also under six years of age. She was sent to Thondimuthalum, an orphanage in India for the benefit of an orphaned boy called Ambarnath, who was being cared for by her father.

The story narrates that the little Princess went to Thondimuthalum with her two younger sisters to visit her father who worked there. After a prolonged absence Ambarnath suddenly fell sick and spent the last days of his life in a nearby orphanage, which was also run by her father’s family. This was the time when her actress mother learnt that her son was going to become an actor one day. She made arrangements for the four girls to accompany her to the audition. Her intention was to make them prepare for the audition in all possible ways including carrying the required weight and body measurements as required by the directors of the audition.

The girl, belonging to the Bengali family had the right proportions and the right body size. It was this aspect that impressed the producer who saw the then 15-year-old at a recent function in Mumbai. As per the specifications of the audition, the actress had to carry approximately thirty-five pounds on her stiles. She informed the organizers of the audition that she would need three more weeks to get back to the desired weight.

Though the audition did not materialize, Sajayan did get the chance to meet her idol in person. She was also able to get an insight into the work of Indian cinema which was a surprise to her. She was presented with an honorary doctorate degree in film and communication which she is expected to complete in the next few years. The award for this recognition has been presented jointly by Sony and Disney India which further denote her status as a superstar in the Hollywood industry.

Nirmala from Mumbai is another celebrity actress who has gone to Hollywood to be known as Nirmala from Mankatha. She too has the same build and attributes as Sajayan but has the slightly different career path which is bound to make her stand apart from the rest of the competition. She began her career playing the role of a demure yet sexy character in a Hindi movie titled as Om Shanti Om. Following this role, Nirmala then appeared in the films, ‘Dhoom De Dhoom’, ‘Kurban’, ‘Chak De! India’ and ‘Vishyaz’.
