Nivedita Jaintha Saraf was born in Rishikesh in the state of Rajasthan. As she was growing up, her parents had introduced her to traditional Indian cuisine by serving rogan chana dal and paella at their home on a regular basis. Nivedita Saraf enjoys cooking delicious traditional Marathi cuisine and she enjoys preparing various Marathi recipes for different events as well as for the family. Her birth name was Nivedita Vaidya and it is interesting to note that this name was inspired by the goddess of wealth in the Hindu mythological cycle. Nivedita was an avid fan of movies and she used to watch all the movies with her family including” Tirupati” and “Lord of the Rings”. Nivedita has always maintained that she is someone who was inspired by none other than the legendary Tamil movie hero Nivedita. Nivedita’s other popular works include several articles which are published in multiple print magazines including “fters” and “village newspapers” in the state of Tamilnadu.
