India’ starring Akshay Kumar, Srabanti Chatterjee was again in the limelight, playing different characters and this time in the role of the villainous gangster. Besides this role in ‘Iruvar’, he also appeared in the films ‘Dabang Pyaar Kyu Kiya’, ‘Bada Dabang’, ‘Chak De! India and finally in the best comedy ‘Iruvar’.

The most interesting part of Srabanti Chatterjee’s filmography was the time he spent in the foreign lands of India, where he was seen as a great actor and a wonderful human being, apart from being a great entertainer. He travelled to so many countries including Nepal, Bhutan, Sri Lanka and China, and acted in so many different movies in these countries. His most noteworthy and best known performance was in the movie ‘Chak De! India, in which he plays the role of a national hero.
