Aamina Sheikh was born in Pakistan and grew up in Dubai. One of these serials that earned Aarya tremendous popularity was the crime series ‘Kurban’. The story of this crime series was based on the murder of a prominent politician. In this TV series, Aamina was faced with problems of a murder mystery that was featured in an international television audience. Her role as the detective brought Aamina to international prominence.

Aamina Sheikh has gone on to act in a number of high profile movies and earned good reviews for each one. She has also been nominated for the Golden Globe Awards for the best actress category in the 2021 movies sector for her role in ‘Chak De! India’ and ‘Nana’. Aamina Sheikh was also nominated for the same category in the same year for her role in ‘Four Lux Style Award Winning movie’.
